| Follow these tips to give yourself the best chance to sell your kart or karting related items |

Tip #1) When placing your ad, make sure you place the city, state and zip/postal code where you are located in your profile. The KartAds system retrieves information about where you are located from your profile. This is important because a buyer may want to only view karts for sale or Kart Dealers in Texas. He or she would type "Texas" in the "Search for" field and then select the ad section that interest them. In this example all Classified ads in Texas will be shown. You can search by zip code or postal code also if you wish.
Tip #2) When someone does a search, or views an Ad Section, wouldn't you like YOUR ad to remain near the top? Well you can get that competitive edge with our Classified Ad Enhance Listings services.
Tip #3) Make the Caption of your ad stand out. You are competing with all the other ads on the system, you want protential buyers to recognize your ad and give them motivation to read your ad. Don't just put "kart for sale" Place something up like "Won State Championship!" to get the attention of the buyer. Another way to make your ad standout is using our Enhance Listings service. You can BOLD and Red the Caption of your ad to make it really stand out among the other ads.
Tip #4) Its a FACT, more ads are viewed and get more replies when they have pictures than ads that do not. You know you have a great kart and it's the best looking kart in the world, BUT if you don't let anyone else see it they might not know it truly is a great value. Give your protential buyer some motivation to contact you by showing off your kart with a photo. You can upload a total of 4 pictures per ad.
Tip #5) Add a short audio .WAV file or MID file (up to 225K) to your ad. Most modern computers have audio recording capabilities. Make a recording, save it to your hard drive and upload to your ad.
Tip #6) Take it one step further. Add video to your ad with 325K you can add a short "video advertisement" to sell your kart or items. You can up load a .MOV or .AVI file with your ad.
Tip #7) Always use proper capitalization with your ad, remember you are asking someone to spend their hard earned money on your kart. If you are a business it's even more important! If the see a sloppy written ad copy, what are they going to think about your kart or service, is it just as bad? Type your ad in a Word processor program or email manager that has spell check. Then "cut" (by highlighting the text and at the same time use the "ctrl" key and the "c" key to copy. Place your cursor where you want to paste the text and press the "ctrl" key and the "v" key at the same time to paste your ad copy in the "Text of add" field.
Tip #8) If you have any questions about placing an ad, or you would like to add a photo to your ad but do not have a digital camera or a scanner, you can go buy a disposable camera take several pictures of your item you want to sell, take it to your processor and ask them to make the pictures available on the Internet or on a CD. Then send them to webmaster@kartads.com provide your Ad number and Ad section, we will resize and upload your ad for you free of charge.
